First of all I like the game-idea, it's a completely different approach to think about the project, well done.
However I think you should more focus on a specific public. In my honest opinion, I don't think a single person who reads the Tijd will ever consider playing this game. I think it's better to focus on people in their teenage years who read things like Joepie. They attach a lot more value to gaming and gossip articles.
Last, and rather simple, comment. I think you're mixing the mining thing with an oil rig in one of your sketches. Just a thought ;-).
