DataMiner Concept v0.2

Again you can enjoy our beautiful drawing skills.
This is the storyboard of the refined concept.
No trading options, shop or bank.
Less buttons, less complex, more fun!

Also the minigame is dropped.

As you can see, the type of article is free to chose if you have unlocked this option.

  1. With these simplifications, won't the competitive element be kind of reduced to people mining (grinding) their way downwards? All they have to do to rise in the Highscores would be to mine/dig one more level deeper.

    At this time your storyboard looks like the articles come secondary. People would mine, and just dump articles when they run out of (storage) space to continue mining deeper.

    As a previous comment also asked, will you force or check whether or not players actually read the articles?
    Checking whether or not a user has actually read an article may potentially be a problem. Simply forcing them to scroll to the bottom can generally be skipped by press-and-holding PgDwn (or scrolling/...), and checking the time an active has been open is hardly robust either.
